There are already numerous ways to treat hemorrhoid. It is a concern anyone would want to cure right away because of the discomfort it causes such as swelling and bleeding of the anal part. It could really affect your daily routine.

Strained blood vessels in the anal canal during stool removal result to hemorrhoid. Swelling of either internal or external anal part, and even bleeding and itching are just few of the discomforts. Factors affecting hemorrhoid could be obesity, pregnancy and hereditary predisposition. Its inflammation could take long duration if not treated instantly.

Hemorrhoid surgery is the most critical among treatments but it assures permanent cure. How would one know that surgery is his/her best option? Hemorrhoid could just be a rare seasonal condition to anybody but if it reaches constant bleeding effects and severe straining of the anal part, doctors would recommend surgical operations to avoid further anal complications.

Foremost thing to do is consult a doctor for assessment of the hemorrhoid condition. They have every right to recommend surgical operations. But the choice is as of the patient’s. a patient may try home remedies and or oral medications and ointments but if these treatment alternatives are still not working or has just lead to more complications to the condition, it is time to take surgery.

Some individuals consider surgery as the best option for it is a more immediate cure and relief. It could cost much but it would really prevent further complications. So it’s up to the individual to choose for the best option that suits his/her condition and experiences.

It would prevent one to go to the comfort room because of the discomfort it could cause during bowel movement. Hemorrhoids are actually normal structure in the anal part but when it becomes swollen due to several factors, it is when it becomes a discomfort or a pathogen to one’s body.

There are several causes to this problem, mostly diet-related factors. Others are as follows:

•	Aging is a factor that leads to irregular bowel movements. Some muscle tissues in the anal canal serve as cushion to aid the stool passage. With aging, people lose some muscles in the body such as in the anal canals causing these to sag and resulting to some hemroid or veins that are highly stressed.

•	Being overweight and pregnant can put tension on whole body. It is about the extra weight that makes stool harder to pass and eventually stress some veins in the anal canal. Constipation is one factor for pregnant woman because of common and normal stomach problems and the stage when the fetus is pushed towards the birth canal that pressures the anal canal also.

•	Poor diet is often leading to hemHemorrhoid could affect anyone and can disturb people not just physically but also mentally. It would prevent one to go to the comfort room because of the discomfort it could cause during bowel movement.

There is a long-term cure for hemorrhoids or piles that irritates your anal region due to strained veins during stool movement. Patience is essential in order to solve the problem but immediate aids are needed to stop the pain, itching and discomfort brought about by hemorrhoid.

Here is how to get rid of it fast and more effective:

#1: have a sitz bath. Sitz comes from the German word “sitzen” meaning “to sit”. It is done by filling-up your bath tub with few inches of warm water. Soak in it with your knees raised. A sitz bath will work perfectly if you have a basin designed for it. A twenty-minute soak, even without soap, would definitely give you that fast relief from pain and itching on the anal area. Have it 2-3 times a day for a more relaxed body. Pouring vinegar and salt in the warm tub could also add to effective healing process.

#2: and then be cold with ice. Yes, ice packs. Cold compress could make the anal area less sensitive thus reducing pain, heat and itch and the swelling of the veins. It could also be done by sitting on the ice but may be uncomfortable if done in long durations. Moreover, ice packs will increase blood supply resulting to a faster blood circulation through the anal area.

#3: over-the-counter hemorrhoid creams and ointments. There are numerous OTC creams that can be applied on affected area especially for external hemorrhoids. These products still reduces discomfort like the two mentioned ways above. In order to find the most suitable product for you, research and read reviews about creams and ointments that worked best for most hemorrhoid conditions.

#4: allow blood circulation. You can do this by lying on your side so that your body would be relieved from pressure, thus faster flow of blood especially in the anal area. Or perhaps you could stand once in a while when lying or sitting.

These steps accompanied by the right diet, fiber and hydration, would make the long-term cure of hemorrhoid faster.

Bleeding, pain, itching and other related discomfort, you wouldn’t want to feel this during work. How could you concentrate with these hemorrhoid-related effects? Hemorrhoids could be internal or external depending on the symptoms but both types really are hindering us from performing at work. Some are not just lucky enough to avoid hemorrhoid. Here are steps to cope up with hemorrhoid at work:

Step 1: Lifestyle Change. Proper diet means lots of fiber intake and a fully hydrated body. This can help in a more comfortable bowel movement and plus it makes it regular. Lifestyle change also means regular and enough sleeping hours. Maintaining a healthy body clock can answer to almost all types of body discomfort. Have a healthier lifestyle.

Step 2: hemorrhoid Natural treatment. There are a lot of natural home remedies for hemorrhoid. Why go natural? It will cost you very less and it is just found out there! Treatments like some herbs and plants may be used as dietary supplements or applied topically such as the witch hazel in order to cure the anal area that is infected. Bathing in warm water will help in softening the anal area for a comfortable stool movement.

Step 3: Consult your doctor. Yes, there are numerous drug prescriptions for hemorrhoid problems but not all medicine is appropriate for all cases of hemorrhoids. Consulting the doctor is going to make treatment much steadfast. It is as good as the natural treatment.

Step 4: Exercise. Solving hemorrhoids much faster can be done with regular exercise. But it is better to have those light exercises every day. Aside from putting you in shape it allows more blood circulation thus making the body move waste properly.

Suffering from hemorrhoid with itching, pain and even some external bleeding is no joke. It ruins our day. And no one wouldn’t want to solve it using those pain-causing hemroid cream; they are more likely to double the pain you’re experiencing. We need not to suffer that much. There are more better and convenient ways to solve hemorrhoid and they are just in your homes. It is natural so we can have it anytime of the day. No needs to go see the doctor, pile-solutions are right inside your homes.

Cold compress before going to bed:

This works best for external hemorrhoids specifically in the rectal area. Coldness makes veins shrink and anal walls toned-up. Ice water compress could also be applied right after soaking in the warm tub, makes it more efficient in curing the rectal area. Just make sure that the water is clean and so with the cloth used for the compress.

Soaking in a warm bath tub:

The bathtub is the best venue to relax your strained anal canal. Fill it with lukewarm water and you can soak in it twenty to thirty minutes if you prefer. This bath could be done twice a day to feel the expected relief from swelling and pain. Also, make sure that your position while soaking in the tub does not aggravate the swelling. As you immerse your body in the water and alight from the tub, make sure there is no excessive use of force. It might worsen the condition down there.

Use of creams or lotions:

These are widely available in your nearest pharmacy. But choose those that can help get rid of irritation or agitation. More often, the rush to self-medicate and purchase over-the-counter hemorrhoids treatment leads to even more severe problems. So it’s best to know your real condition so that the best cure is applied to the hemorrhoids. That way, the problem is solved, not worsened.

Those suffering from various phases of hemorrhoids are unified in saying that the condition is: “a pain in the ass.” We cannot blame anyone who says so because the condition is not just painful; it’s disruptive of any activity, be it at work or during sleep. Having hemorrhoids make driving or being a passenger so difficult.

More so, having this ailment puts one at embarrassing situations, often forcing them to withdraw socially, miss important social opportunities and stop from seeking better life. After all, who could focus on a date or an office meeting, play basketball or attend a concert with that painful feeling in their ass? Truly, hemorrhoids is a pain in all sense of the word.

Here are some ways to get rid of the pain and the hemorrhoids. Assess which option is best to finally get that pain in the ass eliminated.

Ointment or cream products are the most common medications for hemorrhoids. Most of these are available over the counter and have passed essential products check from authorities. Hence, they are safe to use, unless indicated so against certain hemorrhoids condition and allergies. Most of all, ointments and creams are easy to use. You can apply it directly in the affected area to soothe the itching and pain. The healing and soothing components of these products would then eliminate discomfort, like itching and scratching.

Still, it is advisable you seek doctors’ assistance because improper use of products may result to more damage in the tissue or may result to side effects. Now, who would like to have more pain!

Another quick pain relief option is found right at home. Or you could take one as you drive to work or sit around in your office. It’s called an ice pack. Having this pressed to the area would eliminate the swelling, and it’s know to ease the burning sensation caused by hemorrhoid. Thus, it’s definitely a quick relief.

Some people affected with less serious hemorrhoids would use the ice pack as well. Most of the time, it’s to ensure that their condition is not worsened and to get rid of the pain in the area. So ice packs are used an hour before going to bed. Doing so helps them get comfortable and thus, able to have a good night sleep. Most of all, ice packs could be used at other times of the day as well, provided, it doesn’t make you an object of humor from people at work.

There are also suppositories that have various aids provided to the affected area. For one, it lubricates the anal wall because it is inserted directly inside the rectum. Using suppositories will help in the healing process of hemorrhoid and not tearing the tissues again. Also, a suppository moisturizes the hemorrhoids to keep from those sudden stabbing pains in the area when you move or shift sitting or lying down positions.

Making changes in your diet is also one effective way to eliminate painful episodes of hemorrhoids. Eating a lot of high fiber foods will help in ones easier bowel movement. So make sure each of your snack and meals are laden with fiber-rich foods. Fresh fruits and vegetables are a must for people with hemorrhoids. Also, drinking a lot of water helps as it will soften hard stool which is one factor that causes hemorrhoids.

The last resort or answer to your pain would be surgery. This is the way to eliminate hemorrhoids and what is poses to your life – the pain, itching and discomfort. Other people resort to surgery for the reason that their hemorrhoid is resistant to treatment. To do that you have to visit your physician for the medical procedures .In hemorrhoid surgery, the doctor will take away the swollen veins around the anus.

Common surgical procedure would be ligation wherein the doctor will tie the artery, the one that supplies blood to the hemorrhoid and then eventually it will just fall off. Other medical surgery is called Hemorrhoidectomy wherein you will undergo a general anesthesia because the doctors will make an incision on the tissue around the hemorrhoid, swollen veins within the hemorrhoid will be tied off to cease bleeding.

So decide on which answer you’d want to finally get rid of that pain in the ass. Better yet, see your doctor and discuss the matter. Unless hemorrhoids has overturned your life to the worst level, most likely the situation could be helped with medication and management. But if so, let the doctor help you get prepped for the final answer which is surgery.

Hemorrhoid is an ailment so well hidden physically, but could greatly cost one’s health and social and emotional well-being. When one’s anal structure has become swollen, painful and irritated to develop into hemorrhoids, it could come with great discomfort. At the same time, it also comes with risk factors. These risks should be well understood by those afflicted with hemorrhoids.
For starters, the risk factors are not wholly the direct cause of hemorrhoids but are somehow closely association in one way or another. Often, one would acquire hemorrhoids because of their condition. For others, they’re more concerned with what other health risks they’d experience because they have hemorrhoids.

Here are some of the risk factors associated with hemorrhoids:

Pregnancy. Hemorrhoids is common to pregnant woman because such a stage heightens the tendency to gain weight. The risk factor here is that there is more blood circulating within the pregnant woman’s body, and for reason, there is a tendency the veins expand. It follows that the veins below your uterus would be enlarged. Moreover, when a woman gets pregnant, the uterus normally grows and puts greater pressure in the rectal area. Such pressure would likely lead to hemorrhoids. Further, the event of child birth, increases the possibility of hemorrhoids to develop because it requires a lot of pushing in the rectal area.

Less fiber intake. A lot of people disregard fiber intake in their diet. Less fiber intake would result to hard stool, and hard stool tends to strain the anus and rectal area during defecation. Furthermore, some would forgo the daily bowel movement when it’s taking too long for the waste to go out. So when nature take its course of eliminating from the body the very hard waste, then occurs the high risk of having hemorrhoids.

Obesity. Being overweight is not only about having high risk for cardiovascular ailments. It’s also about having a high risk in developing hemorrhoids. This is because when an overweight person sits down, there is greater pressure from the upper part of the body that would push down weight on the anal area. The fact also that obese people have large cavity, they tend to exert more pressure during bowel movement.

Aging. Old age is another high risk factor in getting hemorrhoids. In fact, it is prevalent among the older groups of people today, blamed mostly on the food and diet. The elderly are also at risk on contracting hemorrhoids because they are not as active and usually have digestive and excretion problems. Their blood flow on the lower part of the body especially in the anal area is also known to slow down with age and so they have higher chances of developing hemorrhoids.

Anal intercourse. Medical professionals stressing the need to refrain from anal intercourse isn’t bent on traditional sexual beliefs. Instead, they highlight that this act increases risk of having hemorrhoids. When this form of intercourse takes place, there will be tearing and harm on tissues on the anal area walls. Even with use of lubricants, people can still develop hemorrhoids when they have frequent anal intercourse because the area isn’t meant for such activity. Thus, it could swell now and then tear in the next intercourse. This then lead to hemorrhoids.

High intake of caffeine and alcohol. These two diuretics would normally cause one to urinate frequently. In the process, essential fluids needed in normal, softer stool formations are disturbed. The results are formation of dry and hard stool that’s very difficult and painful to excrete. Once there is the bowel elimination urge, it will be many minutes of pushing hard and overworking the tissues and muscles in the anal area, thus causing hemorrhoids. For many people, even their stool could actually cause tearing of the anus and lead to infections in the area. That plus what infections would do to the developing hemorrhoids, it’s only right to go easy on coffee, soda and alcohol.

Hereditary. Studies show that genetics play a vital role a person having hemorrhoids, but other people challenge it by saying that, the main factor is the lifestyle and environment that are alike of the family members so most likely other family members tend to have hemorrhoids.

Weight lifting. People who are into weight lifting are at risk in having hemorrhoids for the reason that they tend to hold their breath for long. As you hold your breath you create a lot of pressure in rectal and anal region resulting to formation of hemorrhoids.

Less water intake. We know how important water is in the digestion of food to become waste. With less water intake, it’s likely to lead to dehydration. In turn, dehydration slows down the digestion process which also means that there is less waste and hard stool. Further, hard stool could mean constipation, another issue that causes hemorrhoids.

Lack of exercise. Exercise is good for our body. It helps us in our digestion and also helps us to have a good circulation in our body. Lack of exercise might lead to delay on passing stools, and if that time comes, the waste becomes so hard and painful to excrete, such that it damages the tissues on the anal region. This then results to hemorrhoids.

Constipation or irregular bowel movement. Chronic constipation is a problem for most people. More likely they are the ones who are prone in having hemorrhoids. It is the leading factor of having hemorrhoids, because defecating is more difficult and need to do more straining which may lead to formation of hemorrhoids.

Over the years, there has been a steady increase of people with hemorrhoids. Just because some are into sports didn’t save them from the painful predicament in their rectal area. In fact, there are sport activities that aggravate or exacerbate development of hemorrhoids. With this, it is indeed important that everyone already having signs of the problem is careful with the sports to engage in.

Medical professionals agree that the sudden, swift and strong movements in some sports would put too much pressure on the anal region. Being so, it disrupts the structure in itself and aggravates the condition of existing hemorrhoids. Such movements are found in sports like golf, baseball and cricket. The swing of clubs and bats, the pitching from the mound and the throwing and batting involved in playing cricket would sure affect the hemorrhoids. It is the same with tennis and badminton, as well as bowling. Forcing yourself to play with the boys or keep up with the tournament schedule would only make matters worse.

Even with simpler or milder cases of hemorrhoids, doctors strongly advice against pursuing any sport. Those who take the professional statement for granted would later suffer from severe pain from hemorrhoids, even rectal bleeding and inability to sit or walk. In many cases, insistent sports buffs with hemorrhoid condition gone out of hand would have to get immediate surgery just to get relief. Not only would they miss their games during the process, they’d likely spend ten or more times the cost if they opt not to aggravate their hemorrhoids condition.

Some of the popular sports that must be stopped upon discovery of hemorrhoids are running, weight lifting and all other field sports, like shot put, pole vault and javelin throw. The routines required of these sports and disciplines would truly hasten the worst condition of hemorrhoids. This is because too much strain is posed upon muscles and veins in the anal area and nearby body regions. Body builders and gymnasts are also refrained from their routines for the same reason.

Naturally, sports where the buffs and pros are mostly seated are among the no-no for those with hemorrhoids. Examples of this would be car and bike racers, cyclists, jockeys and horse riding sports, as well as rowing, kayaking and most of water sports.

So to avoid getting hemorrhoids, it’s best to choose which sport or exercise is best for you. If you already have it, avoid getting into worse conditions and stop playing for some time. Seek medical attention on how to heal your hemorrhoids. If needed because you’re in a pro league or aspiring to be a major sports figure, then discuss with your doctor how your hemorrhoids could be removed right away.
